This is an announcement made by the White House today, Friday. There is no word yet on any exemptions to the measure.

As a result of this commitment, the US Trade Representative’s office announced a reduction in the duty rate on certain Chinese products covered by the 301-China Tarrifs. Specifically, those products listed in Annex A of the August 20, 2019 notice (84 FR 43304) have had the duty rates decreased from 15% to 7.5% effective 12:01 a.m. Tuesday February 14, 2020.
