Merchandise to be examined must arrive by 3:00 p.m. The adjustment of operating hours is temporary, though no date has been provided for resumption of the regular hours. We will update this information as it becomes available from the FDA.

A project to replace an existing primary inspection booth at the CBP Pacific Highway Cargo facility will begin on March 2, 2020, and continue through May 2020.

 

The project will require the closure of one lane during construction. CBP at Blaine will implement strategies and make every effort to mitigate delays related to the lane closure.

 

We encourage Customs Brokers, Importers, Freight Forwarders, and Carriers to monitor Border Wait Times and consider utilizing alternate Ports of Entry during intervals of heavy traffic volumes.

CBP will remain closed through the Christmas Holiday (December 25, 2019) and will reopen for business on Thursday, December 26, 2019.
