Specifically, the rate of additional duty for large civil aircraft will be increased from 10 percent to 15 percent on March 18, and the lists of other products subject to the additional 25 percent duty will be modified as of March 5.  Click on the link below to view the text of this Notification to see if any of the products you bring into the US are affected. This comes after a determination by the US Trade Representative that, “…the European Union (EU) and certain member States have denied U.S. rights under the World Trade Organization (WTO) Agreement and have failed to implement WTO Dispute Settlement Body recommendations concerning certain subsidies to the EU large civil aircraft industry.” This determination was reached after an investigation launched on April 12, 2019.

We invite you to look at both documents to determine if products you import appear on either list. If so, then tariffs against those products will commence on the date stated above.
